Sell Art

Private sales, consignment and representation · office@avant.dev

Avant.Dev sells original works for the artists it represents and for collectors who want to pass a work on. Three doors, one standard: every sale closes with a certificate of authenticity, insured delivery and a price agreed in writing.

01

Artists: join the roster

We represent a close group of artists from Mexico, Chile and beyond, and we place their original works with collectors in Mexico, the United States and Europe. If you would like to show us your work, ask for representation: create an account as an artist and send your portfolio from Account → Representation, or write to us at /contact?type=representation. We answer within two weeks. What we look for: a consistent body of work, original pieces available for sale, and the will to build a career over years rather than a season.

02

Collectors: open a work to offers

A work acquired through Avant.Dev carries a certificate of authenticity in your wallet. From Account → Certificates, switch it to open to offers: the work appears on Art Auctions & Private Sales (/art-auctions) with its certificate and its stamps, and nothing about you. Offers reach the gallery, which conveys them to you, negotiates and closes. The certificate is transferred, not reissued: the history stays whole, the new owner signs, and the artist’s resale royalty is booked in the same ledger.

03

A work from elsewhere: private sale or consignment

If you own a work that did not come through Avant.Dev, tell us about it below: artist, title, year, medium, dimensions, how it came to you and a few photographs. We look at it, tell you whether we can place it and at what price, and agree the terms in writing before anything is listed.

04

How a sale works

We price the work with you, photograph it, write its page and present it to the collectors who follow the artist or the medium. A sale is paid through the site; delivery is insured and quoted by destination; the certificate is issued or transferred the day the work leaves.

05

What it costs

There is no listing fee. The gallery earns a commission agreed with you before the work is offered, the same for a private sale and for a consignment, and you see it in the written terms. You are paid once the collector has received the work.

06

What you keep

Your name stays off the public page unless you want it there. You can withdraw a work that has not sold at any moment, and a work on consignment stays yours until the day it is paid.
