Sculpture
Ceramic, marbled glass and opaline light in three dimensions: the works that ask for a plinth, a shelf or a floor.
3 works

curator’s note
Three works in three dimensions, each made of a material that is also its subject: fired clay, marbled glass and opaline light. They are the works of the roster that ask for a plinth, a shelf or a floor rather than a wall.
Valentina Guerrero’s Todo evento comprende su tiempo is marbled glass with copper foil and magnifying lenses, held by an articulated steel arm that lets the piece be turned. Marcos Sánchez’s ATL is a column of opaline plastic lit from inside by an LED strip. María Rébora’s ceramic opened the collection and has found its collector.
A sculpture travels crated and insured, and its certificate records the material and how the work is to be installed. Before buying, open the work’s page for its measures and weight; if the piece needs a plug or a particular light, the page says so.
