Sculptor and ceramicist placing industrial and traditional materials in dialogue.

biography

María Rébora is a visual artist and ceramist whose practice bridges digital and analog techniques, informed by her background in art restoration. Her work combines ceramic sculpture with industrial printing processes, creating installations that challenge traditional material boundaries. Working with polished engobes, glass, bronze, and industrial prints like lenticular chromes, Rébora's creative process is driven by technical research and material exploration. Her abstract ceramic sculptures are distinguished by their modular nature and organic forms, transcending traditional kiln limitations. In installations like "La Perla y la Ola" (2024), she integrates industrial prints with three-dimensional elements, exploring themes of eroticism through abstraction. Rébora's work investigates the boundaries between sensuality and form, creating pieces that invite viewers to reinterpret corporeality through elegant and playful compositions.
